She hadn't mentioned the words 'owned' or 'slave', and she gave the miko a broad smile in return. "Yes, Lady...?"   
"Kikyo," she supplied. "Why don't you come in and have something to drink?"   
She followed her back inside the house and sat on the wooden floor. "Do you know Lord Inuyasha well?"

The reunion with Inuyasha could only have gone worse if one of them had bled, but it was the confrontation with Kagome afterward that had cut him deeply. She had folded so easily in the face of his anger, but the accusation in her eyes had been damning.

My passions:









All the News You Can Handle

First, the biggest news - I passed the bar exam! :party: :D :D :D :party: That's right! Soon, I will be receiving my bar card, get sworn in and will be able to sue people all on my very own. LoL. Overall, my school did pretty well, although not as well as some times in the past, so I'm very pleased I was one of the many that got the good news and not one of the few that got the bad. Considering how frustrating law school could be, I'm quite happy to be done with it all.

Second, I know that I said I might be doing NaNoWriMo, but I've changed my mind. I really need to be concentrating on getting a job now that I can practice without supervision. So, why is this good news? Because I'm going to totally copy a bevy of friends' ideas by trying for the 50k mark but with my own fics. In other words, I can't do both NaNo AND my stories, but I might be able to write 50k for just the stories, spread across several of them. We'll see. I'm keeping a private tally, and I'm already behind, but I hope to catch up soon!

Third, I am going to try to participate in the Ultimate Fanfiction Contest here on dA - [link] . Again, this is my replacement for NaNo. :) I encourage everyone to do it! Fanfic needs more recognition on this site! I actually have a decent idea that is *gasp* not Sess/Kag. Sorry! =P You can enter as many times as you want, so I might do two one-shots, but we'll see if inspiration strikes.

Lastly, new features! ~Razriel attracted my attention because of her lovely re-imagining of Sleeping Beauty, but she shows how inventive she is with a lot of other subjects - even the risque. She certainly has a sense of humor. :D I'll leave you to investigate *those* on your own.

There was mention of characters flaws in regards to my fanfic Forever Ai and I have been doing some research on the subject. Per your advice, I have decided to take the story in a different direction. Anyway, I came across this in my search and I thought you might find it both interesting and helpful, I did. LQTM
